Welcome
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. This blog gives you the chance to see my passion in the form of images. Images captured for myself. For others. For the pure joy that they bring to me and those around me.
In my blog you will find images and moments shared to bring joy to you as well. |
"But this girl's special, you know. It's just, like, something about her." Dustin Henderson Eighties Details + Arcade = Stranger Things Engagement Session I joined a group of photographers for a stylized shoot at an arcade a few weeks ago...the theme was none other than Stranger Things! An engagement shoot full of 80's arcade games, Polaroid selfies, and a little Dungeons & Dragons research! We started our session having the couple play some of the games. Ski-ball, pinball, even some Atari Star Wars! From there, we did a little snuggling in the aisles. It was a chance to show off the new ring and get in a little DnD reading while we were on the floor. How cool are those books!? Who could pass up a photo booth at a time like this?!? Some silly faces and some serious hotness going on in there! The gorgeous couple then moved on to some date night time with their Polaroid and Coca Cola. And the hard decision of deciding what to do with all of those tickets! When we went outside for a few shots, we noticed a bike parked by the building and the owner of it was nice enough to let us get some poses in with it! I think it was perfect since the Stranger Things kids spend so much of their time riding around town on their bikes! The details at this session were too cute. We had Save the Date cards complete with Christmas Lights, a beautiful engagement ring, the coolest Stranger Things charm bracelet, and some DnD guide books! We even located the Mind Flayer page! I had such a great time with the other photographers and the models at this event. I just love all of the shots I got! I can not wait for another chance at a themed session!
If you are planning your engagement session, or any other session for that matter, get with me because I can't get enough of these types of shoots! ((I would especially love to do a book lovers session in a library!))
