Welcome
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. This blog gives you the chance to see my passion in the form of images. Images captured for myself. For others. For the pure joy that they bring to me and those around me.
In my blog you will find images and moments shared to bring joy to you as well. |
When my cousin, Amber, asked me to take her engagement pictures I was super excited! And also a little nervous! Let me explain: Amber and Runt have been engaged for a while now and we keep in touch through social media so I knew that her fiance was in a wheelchair. I have never done a session with someone in a wheelchair but I knew that Amber would be great at letting me know what they were and were not comfortable with. I also knew that Runt runs a farm so if he can do that, he can handle a shoot with me! We spent the evening outside of their beautiful house out in the country. Quilts in the grass, tractors, boots and cowboy hats! Nothing says "country engagement" like all of those things! Amber and Runt were so much fun to work with! They joked with each other the entire time - which means I got some really great, genuine smiles! They were totally comfortable with each other as well as me and my camera. I don't know why I was ever anxious about this new experience. They were the perfect couple to work with as we tried all the poses we could come up with! I wish nothing but laughs and joy for this couple as they start their lives together next May!
